Mi piace veramente tanto questa cassettiera, per i colori, per la forma in generale e per la forma dei cassetti quasi tutti diversi con tutte maniglie diverse.

Il produttore è Schönbuch ed afferma che questa collezione si chiama patchwork design, ci sono tre misure con15, 18 o 8 diversi disegni.

Due versioni frontali, una con finitura in vernice e una realizzata con legno (e ci sono 6 diverti tipi di legno da scegliere).

Un maglione per sedia?!

Ebbene si, i designer cercano sempre di stupirci proponendo oggetti un pò fuori dal comune o usando materiali alternativi. E' proprio quello che ha fatto Claire Anne O'Brien proponendo una serie di sedute davvero particolari.

Ha realizzato una serie di sedie ispirate dagli elementi del punto a maglia, tessendo la seduta delle sedie come se si stesse realizzando un maglione vero e proprio, facendolo però in una scala molto più grande.

I tessuti con i quali sono state realizzate sono la lana d'agnello e lana di pecore, in un mix di lane che possono essere lavate sia a mano che in lavatrice.

La seduta qui sotto invece è stata realizzata utilizzando i dettagli e le tecniche di costruzione tradizionalmente associate per la realizzazione di capi in maglia, come li polsini e le asole e sono completamente modellate, tagliate e cucite per creare le sedute per queste particolari sedie.

 Mi piace molto il design e penso che sia la moda sia il design (in generale) camminino di pari passo, per questo posterò nn solo argomenti riguardanti la moda d'abbigliamento o trucchi ma anche oggi che ritengo interessanti, soprattutto se fatti da giovani designer.

Come la Loom Lamps di Benjamin Hube, che trovo molto particolare e molto versatile perchè può essere "modellata" come più ci piace, come?!?! molto semplice...

Queste lampade sono realizzate in poliestere il quale essendo elastico ha la capacità di allungarsi e  di adattarsi a svariate forme... 

L'idea di avere una lampada così mutevole e nn statica è molto interessante, potergli cambiare forma in base al proprio gusto e/o in base alle necessità.
